Eynif Plain Antalya
Eynif Plain is a vast 90,000-acre flatland located within the Ormana Neighborhood of the İbradı district in Antalya. Situated at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains, the plain is known for its natural beauty and rich wildlife.
One of the most remarkable features of Eynif Plain is that it is home to wild horses. These horses, believed to have originated from Ottoman-era cavalry units, were gradually released into the wild over time. Today, their population is estimated to have exceeded 1,000.
Beyond its natural beauty, Eynif Plain is also significant for its historical structures. One of the most notable sites is Tol Han, a Seljuk-era caravanserai located on the southern edge of the plain. Situated along the historic Silk Road, this han once served as a resting place for merchants and travelers.
For hiking and photography enthusiasts, Eynif Plain offers stunning landscapes and unexplored trails. While walking across the plain, you can observe wild horses in their natural habitat, visit the historic Tol Han, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Taurus Mountains.
