Gökdere Canyon Antalya
Gökdere Canyon offers visitors a visual spectacle with its small waterfalls and natural pools formed by the melting snow and rainwater from the mountains. The stream flowing at the canyon floor, approximately 2 meters deep, provides an ideal spot for cooling off, especially during the summer months. While hiking through the canyon, you can enjoy the sounds of birds, immerse yourself in nature, and refresh yourself by swimming in the crystal-clear waters.
The hiking trails in the area vary in difficulty levels, making them perfect for nature walks and trekking. The trail starting from Gökdere and extending to the ancient city of Onobara and Sarısu offers a unique experience for nature and history enthusiasts.
Spring and autumn are the best seasons to visit the canyon. During summer, temperatures can be high, so it is recommended to start hiking early in the morning. Some areas within the canyon can be steep and slippery, so caution is advised.
