Lara Beach Antalya

Lara Beach, located on the eastern coast of Antalya, is the city's second most famous beach. The name "Lara" comes from the Hittite language, meaning "sand." Known for its golden sands, crystal-clear waters, and five-star resorts, the beach is incredibly popular and attracts visitors from all over the world. It is suitable for those looking to relax as well as those who want to enjoy water sports, vibrant nightlife, and exciting activities.

Located on the Turkish Riviera, Lara Beach is the perfect destination for a holiday. It is the closest beach to Antalya Airport, making it easily accessible. It is also situated 18 km from the city center. Stretching for 15 km, most of the beach is owned by luxury resorts, making Lara Beach one of the best choices for summer vacations.

New facilities and infrastructure developments in the area are still ongoing. Currently, around 15 facilities with a total capacity of approximately 30,000 beds are in service, and with the completion of ongoing projects, this capacity is expected to exceed 30,000. Unlike Konyaaltı Beach, the sand at Lara Beach is soft. If you prefer a sandy shore, Lara Beach is the ideal choice. Known for its fine, soft sand, the beach is perfect for walking barefoot or sunbathing. The golden-colored sand adds a warm ambiance to the area. It is also ideal for building sandcastles, playing beach volleyball, or simply relaxing.

Lara Beach offers plenty for nature lovers, with its golden sands, stunning natural beauty, and clear waters. The water quality meets the standards set by the Blue Flag program.

Adventure seekers can find plenty of activities at Lara Beach, including water sports such as snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides. Additionally, there are public barbecue areas and rental sun loungers available. The area is home to a variety of luxury resort hotels offering amenities such as spa centers, gourmet restaurants, and entertainment options.

While enjoying the beach, visitors can also explore the rich cultural heritage of the region. Nearby attractions include ancient ruins, historical sites, and museums.
