Akdeniz University Medical Faculty Hospital is one of the leading healthcare institutions in Antalya. Opened in 1982, the hospital has been operating at its current location in the Konyaaltı district since 1997. Today, it offers all the facilities required by modern medicine with 1,267 patient beds, 115 intensive care beds, and 29 operating rooms across 8 blocks.

Furthermore, Akdeniz University Hospital is one of Turkey's leading centers in organ transplantation and has made a global breakthrough by successfully performing a uterus transplant. Also a pioneer in education, the Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine started applying the "Inverted Learning Model" in the 2022-2023 academic year with 149 faculty members.
