The castle was built by the Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat in 1221. Positioned on a hill 250 meters high above the city, the castle has an impressive view. You can visit Alanya Castle with a museum card. The entrance fee for foreign visitors without a Museum Card is 12€.
