Altınbeşik Cave Antalya
Altınbeşik Cave, located within the borders of Ürünlü Village in the İbradı district of Antalya, stands out as the host of Turkey’s largest underground lake. First discovered in 1966, research has determined that the cave has a total length of 5.5 kilometers. However, the section open to visitors is limited to approximately 400 meters. The cave consists of three levels, with only the first level covered by water. The lake in this section extends 200 meters from the entrance, creating a mesmerizing view with its turquoise-colored waters.
Inside the cave, massive stalactites, stalagmites, and travertine formations can be found. Thanks to the crystal-clear water, these natural formations are easily visible. Visitors can experience a serene and peaceful boat tour on the 200-meter-long lake inside the cave, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in its unique atmosphere.
The best time to visit the cave is during the spring and autumn months. In summer, the water level may drop, while in winter, access to some areas can become more difficult. The most impressive periods for visiting are between April and June, as well as between September and November.
