Dim Cave Antalya
Opened to visitors in 1998, Dim Cave is the second-largest cave in Turkey that has been opened for tourism. With a total length of 410 meters, the cave has a horizontal structure and consists of four main galleries. Inside the cave, there are rich formations of stalactites, stalagmites, and travertines. Additionally, 17 meters below the entrance, there is a small lake with a water surface of approximately 200 square meters.
The formation of Dim Cave dates back approximately 1 million years. Over time, water and air currents eroded the rocks, shaping the cave into its present magnificent form. The first inhabitants and nomadic communities in the region used the cave as a shelter and dwelling. The cave's interior is spacious and well-protected, making it suitable for human habitation.
The temperature inside Dim Cave remains constant between +18°C and +19°C throughout the year, making it a perfect escape, especially during hot summer months!
