Düdensuyu Cave Antalya
Düdensuyu Cave has a karstic structure, formed over millions of years through the erosion of limestone by underground waters. The cave offers fascinating visuals with its stalactites and stalagmites. The underground waterways running through the cave also contribute to the formation of Düden Waterfalls.
The cave is approximately 350 meters long and contains water pools reaching depths of up to 15 meters in some areas. The internal temperature remains consistently between 15-20°C throughout the year, providing an ideal cool escape during hot summer days.
Upon entering Düdensuyu Cave, visitors are greeted by silence and a mystical atmosphere. As you venture further, the reflections of light on underground pools transform the cave into a natural art gallery. Among the cave's most impressive features are the stalactites hanging from the ceiling and stalagmites rising from the ground, formed by minerals in dripping water over thousands of years, creating a mesmerizing appearance.
The underground pools inside the cave hold crystal-clear water, fed by natural underground sources, and even contain potable water. The cave isn't limited to spacious halls; it also includes narrow tunnels, winding passages, and hidden chambers, offering visitors with an adventurous spirit an extraordinary exploration experience.
