Hadrian's Gate, located on the walls surrounding the Ancient Harbor, is situated on Atatürk Avenue. Also known as "Üç Kapılar" (Three Gates) by the locals, this magnificent structure was built in 130 AD to commemorate the visit of Roman Emperor Hadrian. The emperor himself entered the city through this grand gate, which has been preserved to this day. As you step through Hadrian's Gate, you embark on a journey back to the glorious days of ancient Rome and experience the enchanting atmosphere of the past.

The gate consists of three arches supported by four marble columns on each side, along with two towers flanking it. The upper floor of the gate has not survived to the present day. The lower section of the gate, which was unearthed in 1882, underwent a major restoration in 1959, restoring it to its original state.

In 2016, the municipality decided to create a green area in the northeastern front of Hadrian's Gate for visitors to relax. The landscaping of the green space was designed in the form of a sun, with pathways, seating benches, and plant beds illuminated by ground lighting. Later in 2021, the southwestern side leading to Kaleiçi was paved with stone flooring to match the old town's aesthetic. Additionally, marble railings made from Alanya stone were added along the sidewalks. These enhancements not only harmonized the gate's surroundings with its historical ambiance but also provided pedestrian access from both sides of the gate.
