Located just above Belenli Village, this ancient city awaits history enthusiasts and nature lovers who enjoy trekking through unspoiled landscapes.

İsinda was a small ancient city belonging to the Lycian League. Lycia was one of Anatolia's oldest civilizations, with numerous ancient cities within today's Antalya and Muğla regions bearing its heritage. İsinda, though less magnificent compared to major Lycian cities, had its autonomous representation within the Lycian League.

Although İsinda is not frequently mentioned in ancient texts, archaeological remains indicate a strong defensive system and signs of a dense historical population. The city maintained its importance throughout the Hellenistic and Roman periods. Today, its silent yet majestic ruins continue to defy time.

Among the most remarkable remains at İsinda are the Lycian sarcophagi, which provide significant insight into the Lycian beliefs regarding the afterlife. İsinda was surrounded by strong defensive walls constructed to protect the city, parts of which still remain today.
