Kızılkule Ethnography Museum Antalya
From its magnificent position overlooking the harbor, Kızılkule (Red Tower) Ethnography Museum in Alanya offers visitors a captivating journey through the area's rich cultural heritage. The museum hosts an extensive ethnographic collection, showcasing artifacts ranging from the Yörük Turkmen culture to the Ottoman era.
On the first floor, visitors can explore objects depicting the traditional life of the Yörük Turkmens who lived in and around Alanya, including traditional tents, handmade textiles, carpets, and daily household items.
The museum's second floor displays weaponry from the Ottoman era, including swords, armor, spears, and rifles, illuminating Alanya's military past. Another section showcases local culinary traditions through traditional copper cookware and ceramics, highlighting the region’s rich gastronomic heritage.
The museum also exhibits traditional weaving and textile art, presenting regional weaving techniques and craftsmanship.
