Konakaltı Cave Antalya

Konakaltı Cave is a sea cave located in the center of Antalya, along the cliffside coast of Atatürk Park, known for its natural beauty. The cave has a total length of 60 meters and a horizontal structure, classified as a sea cave due to its connection with the sea.

The cave has two entrances on its eastern and western sides. The eastern chamber is mostly covered with rock blocks, while the western chamber is adorned with stalactites, stalagmites, and columns. Additionally, two small rooms connected to the western chamber feature travertine formations. The cave's interior remains cool, and it is home to cave crickets and a small number of bats.

There is no land access to Konakaltı Cave; it can only be reached by sea. The cave is located approximately 3 meters above sea level, with the eastern section's floor partially submerged. While a portion of the eastern chamber is underwater, the western chamber may accumulate water pools due to waves.
