Serik State Hospital Antalya

Serik State Hospital is an important healthcare institution located on Atatürk Street in the Merkez Neighborhood of Serik district, Antalya. The hospital stands out with its experienced medical staff and modern medical equipment, offering comprehensive healthcare services to the local community.

Construction of the facility began in 1957 as a Tuberculosis Dispensary, and in 1967, it was put into operation as Serik Health Center on an area of 10,000 m² with a 1,200 m² indoor space. In 1975, it was transformed into Serik State Hospital with a capacity of 25 beds. By 1976, the hospital expanded to include a 2-story main building and 7 prefabricated units, covering a total indoor area of 2,800 m². To improve service quality, construction of a new building began in 1992 and was opened in 2007 with the support of the local community. An additional building, the foundation of which was laid in 2012, became operational in 2016. Today, the hospital sits on approximately 20,000 m² of land, consisting of 4 floors and 2 main blocks with a total indoor area of 20,406 m².

The hospital has a total bed capacity of 200, including 178 regular inpatient beds and 22 intensive care beds. Additionally, it operates auxiliary facilities such as the Oral and Dental Health Center and Gebiz District Polyclinic.

The hospital offers outpatient services in various medical specialties, including emergency medicine, anesthesiology, neurosurgery, dermatology, pediatrics, internal medicine, infectious diseases, physical therapy and rehabilitation, general surgery, and pulmonary diseases. The emergency department operates 24/7, providing prompt and effective interventions for urgent health needs. Moreover, the hospital offers specialized services such as a palliative care unit, dialysis unit, intensive care unit, and home healthcare services.
