Side Underwater Museum Antalya

In the deep blue waters of Antalya, there is a unique museum where art and the underwater world blend seamlessly: Side Underwater Museum! As Turkey’s first and only underwater sculpture museum, this site is a must-visit for both diving enthusiasts and art lovers.

Established in 2015 by the Antalya Chamber of Shipping, the Side Underwater Museum features a massive collection of 110 sculptures. However, to witness these masterpieces, you have to dive beneath the sea!

The museum is located off the coast of Manavgat - Side and offers visitors a gradual exploration experience with five different diving spots. The sculptures, positioned at depths ranging from 11 meters to 24 meters, merge with the mystical underwater atmosphere to create a breathtaking scene.

This extraordinary museum showcases numerous sculpture groups inspired by Turkish history, mythology, and nature. The Sea God Poseidon majestically greets divers beneath the waves. The Cavalry of the War of Independence sculpture presents an impressive composition of horsemen advancing underwater, emphasizing Turkish history. Additionally, the whirling dervishes create an enchanting ambiance reminiscent of Mevlana’s mystical world.

Address: Located approximately 1.5 km offshore from Side Harbor, beneath the sea off the coast of Manavgat – Side, Antalya.
