Sinan Mill Antalya

Sinan Değirmeni is a historical site located in the Doyran neighborhood of Antalya's Konyaaltı district, approximately 35 kilometers from the city center. Dating back to the late Ottoman period, this area is home to 86 wooden grain storage units, around 300 years old, built without the use of nails. These structures are considered significant examples of the region's agricultural culture and civil architecture.

The design of these grain storage units was inspired by the ancient Lycian sarcophagi. They were constructed using cedar wood, chosen for its natural resin, which prevents insect infestation. In 2013, these buildings were registered and placed under protection by the Antalya Regional Board for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage. Today, they offer visitors a journey back in time.

Access to Sinan Değirmeni is via a stabilized road after the Çağlarca village junction, following the Geyikbayırı route. Situated at an altitude of approximately 900 meters, this region, with its fairytale-like atmosphere, is a unique destination for nature and history enthusiasts.
